What is Foundation Programme?
The purpose of the foundation programme is to offer a systematic presentation of particular subjects of Mahayana Buddhism. It enables practitioners to deepen their practical understanding, knowledge and experience of Buddhism through teachings, guided meditations and discussion. It provides clear guidance for applying Buddha’s teachings in everyday life.
What are we studying?

Correspondence Study
Foundation programme can also be studied by correspondence. This option is for people who find it difficult to attend regularly on Sundays because of travel distance or other commitments. Correspondence students are always welcome and encouraged to attend as many of the Sunday sessions as they can.
How do I start?
The best thing to do is contact us and arrange to come along one Sunday or Monday and sit in on a class to find out what it’s all about.
All Foundation Programme students are required to be centre card holders which is $80 per calendar month. A centre card also entitles holders to attend all general programme classes and courses for free.
