Learn the essential tools of meditation and feel inspired to start your own meditation practice at home.

On this day course your teacher will explain how to:

• experience inner peace and mental clarity
• improve your mindfulness and concentration
• reduce feelings of stress and tension
• enjoy happiness from within

Meditation is a way of calming the mind, reducing stress and developing a more positive approach to life.  This course provides the perfect opportunity to discover for yourself the inner peace and happiness that naturally arises when our mind becomes still.

This feeling of inner peace will help us to cope with the busyness and difficulties of daily life, and to feel warm and well disposed towards other people thereby improving all our relationships.

Everybody is welcome to attend this course, regardless of experience. During the day you will receive practical teachings that are specifically related to the topic of meditation. The course will also include short guided meditations that will give rise to a peaceful feeling in the mind and improve your ability to solve your daily problems effectively.

The Teacher

Hugo Poncia is a Buddhist teacher from Ganden Centre’s community. With his gentle manner and sincerity he shares Buddhist wisdom from his own experience, encouraging others to transform their lives through meditation.

Half-day courses are a special opportunity to take some time out to receive practical teachings that focus on solving a particular problem we are trying to resolve in our daily life.
