CURRENT COURSE: THE POWER OF POSITIVE THINKING

Discover the power our mind has to shape our world. Use meditation and positive thinking techniques to overcome negative thoughts and feelings, and create a life of confidence and happiness.

Our meditation classes are designed for everyone, whether you are an experienced meditator, or just beginning. Classes include two guided meditations, teaching and time for dicussion and questions. Everyone is welcome. While bookings are recommended, you can just drop-in to any class if you prefer.

COVID19 PRECAUTIONS & RESTRICTIONS

All of our venues comply with COVID-safe guidelines. The venues will is sanitised before and after each event and hand sanitiser will be available at the events. Social distancing measures will be in place and chairs may not be moved from their position. NO SHARED CATERING is permissible at the event, including tea, coffee and snacks.

YOUR COVID19 RESPONSIBILITIES

You must not attend the class if you are feeling unwell or have any symptoms of illness. We will arrange a refund for you.

Gold Coast City Council requires you to use hand sanitiser on arrive. Please maintain social distancing at all times.

You will be required to register on arrival at the event. Please try to bring your own pen.

Our focus is to keep everyone safe and healthy and we appreciate your cooperation.

TIMES:

Please arrive by no later 5 minutes prior to you class commencement time so that you can be registered and seated for the commencement of class.

No food or drinks are permitted (water is fine).

Gen Kelsang Ani

Gen Kelsang Ani is Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Brisbane and the Gold Coast and teaches all the main classes and courses at both Centres.

Gen Ani has been studying and practising Modern Kadampa Buddhism with Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over 15 years. Ani teaches with warmth and compassion, making modern Buddhism accessible and applicable to all.

Gen Ani teaches the Monday night class at Helensvale Cultural Centre.

Mary Caldwell

Mary (Mazzi) Caldwell is a Buddhist teacher from Ganden Centre’s community. With her natural kindness and sincerity she shares Buddhist wisdom from her own experience, encouraging others to transform their lives through meditation. Maz teaches the Wednesday morning class at Robina Community Centre.

Gerry Bensoussan

Gerry Bensoussan is an experienced Buddhist teacher who has been studying and practising Buddhism for many years. He explains with warmth and humility, how to receive practical benefit from meditation in our daily life. Gerry teaches the Fradgely Hall, Burleigh class on Wednesday evenings.
