In this short series of classes, we’ll take a practical look at karma, including how to avoid negative karma, how to accumulate good karma and how to purify the negative karma we’ve created in the past.

COVID19 PRECAUTIONS & RESTRICTIONS
Robina Community Centre complies with COVID-safe guidelines. The venue is sanitised before and after each event and hand sanitiser is provided.
To keep everyone safe, we ask that you don’t come to classes if you are feeling unwell or have any symptoms of illness.
In keeping with Qld Govt regulations, we maintain social distancing at all our classes and we ask that you register on arrival.
Masks must be worn while standing and moving around the Community Centre, however they can be removed once you are seated.
Our focus is to keep everyone safe and healthy and we appreciate your cooperation.
Please arrive by no later 5 minutes prior to you class commencement time so that you can be registered and seated for the commencement of class.
No food or drinks are permitted (water is fine).
Our Resident Teacher
Gen Kelsang Ani
Gen Kelsang Ani is Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Brisbane and the Gold Coast and teaches all the main classes and courses at both Centres.
Gen Ani has been studying and practising Modern Kadampa Buddhism with Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over 15 years. Ani teaches with warmth and compassion, making modern Buddhism accessible and applicable to all.
Gen Ani teaches the Monday night class at Helensvale Community Centre.
Mary (Mazzi) Caldwell is a Buddhist teacher from Ganden Centre’s community. With her natural kindness and sincerity she shares Buddhist wisdom from her own experience, encouraging others to transform their lives through meditation. Maz teaches the Wednesday morning class at Robina Community Centre and Wednesday evening class at Fradgely Hall, Burleigh.
