ABOUT THE COURSE
Through the practice of meditation we can develop and maintain a peaceful mind all the time. If our mind is peaceful all the time, we will be happy all the time. So, if we really wish for ourself and others to be happy all the time we must learn to practise meditation.
At this workshop Gen Tsalden will explain how to meditate and how to integrate our practice of meditation into our daily life. Through doing this we can reduce our stress, experience a calm, spacious feeling in the mind, and find many of our usual problems falling away. We will naturally feel warm and well-disposed towards other people, and our relationships with others will gradually improve.
This course is taught by Gen Kelsang Tsalden. Gen Tsalden is a fully ordained Australian Buddhist nun who has practised Kadampa Buddhism for over 14 years, training in Sydney and the UK. With over 10 years experience as a Resident Teacher her clear, inspiring teachings and gentle manner make Buddhist wisdom accessible to all.
