Meditation For Busy People
Meditation is a way of calming the mind, reducing stress and developing a more positive approach to life. This course provides the perfect opportunity to discover for yourself the inner peace and happiness that naturally arises when our mind becomes still.
Everyone is welcome. Classes include guided meditations and Buddhist teachings that are very practical and easily applied to help solve daily problems and experience more peace of mind. There is no need to book or bring anything, you can drop-in any week.
Class fee: $15 per class or purchase a course pass (4 week – $50).
Our meditation classes are designed so that you can drop in to any class, any week without the need to pre-register or attend an entire course.
We hold classes in Kingscliff and our Centre in West Burleigh, making it easy for you to drop in to a class anytime for some inner peace, happiness and practical wisdom.

About The Teachings
Modern Buddhism - Tantra
A special opportunity to learn about Buddha’s remarkable Highest Yoga Tantra meditations, in preparation for receiving these empowerments and commentary at the NKT-IKBU International Fall Festival in Brisbane, October 2020. In this class we study a complete section of the book Modern Buddhism.
Everyone is welcome. Classes include two guided meditations and a teaching. Class fee: $15 per class or purchase a class pass or Centre membership.

Gen Kelsang Tsalden
Gen Kelsang Tsalden is a fully ordained Australian Buddhist nun who has practised Kadampa Buddhism for over 14 years, training in Sydney and the UK. With over 10 years experience as a Resident Teacher her clear, inspiring teachings and gentle manner make Buddhist wisdom accessible to all. Gen Tsalden teaches the Monday night classes at Maclean and the Wednesday and Thursday evening classes at Ganden Centre.
Gerry Bensoussan is an experienced Buddhist teacher who has been studying and practising Buddhism for many years. He explains with warmth and humility, how to receive practical benefit from meditation in our daily life. Gerry teaches the Kingscliff class on Thursday evenings.
Mary (Mazzi) Caldwell is a Buddhist teacher from Ganden Centre’s community. With her natural kindness and sincerity she shares Buddhist wisdom from her own experience, encouraging others to transform their lives through meditation. Maz teaches the Tuesday morning class at Ganden Centre.
